VOLUNTEER INCENTIVES

Level 1 Volunteers – 3 hours (1 shift or 1 bartering position)

You will receive:

70% of the profit from your items that sell and

presale entry at 10:30 a.m. on Friday

For those who are volunteers only and not consigning, you will get entry into the presale at 11:00 a.m. on Friday

Level 2 Volunteers - 6 hours (2 shifts or 1 shift & 1 bartering position) - At least one 3-hour shift must be during actual sale hours.

You will receive:

70% of the profit from your items that sell and

presale entry at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

For those who are volunteers only and not consigning, you will get entry into the presale at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Level 3 Volunteers – 9 hours (3 shifts or 2 shifts & 1 bartering position) - At least two 3-hour shifts must be during actual sale hours.

You will receive:

75% of the profit from your items that sell and

presale entry at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

For those who are volunteers only and not consigning, you will get entry into the presale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

Committee Members (limited space, prior consignors only) – 12 plus hours (Committee shifts can be worked as four or six hour shifts). At least six to eight hours must be during actual sale hours. Committee members will also be expected to distribute flyers at their kids’ schools, moms’ club, church or other organizations to which they belong and provide ideas/implement other ways to advertise the sale.

You will receive:

80% of the profit from your items that sell and

committee presale entry at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.

On-Call Volunteers - If you are called and come in for an on-call shift, you will be compensated with a gift certificate that can be used at the current KC4Y sale to purchase merchandise. If someone doesn’t show up for a shift or if there are huge holes in our volunteer schedule, we need to have a backup of people who would be available to come in on an on-call basis. We will give you as much notice as possible, but there is a possibility that you may be called with less than 24 hours notice. Please e-mail me at info@kidsconsignment.com with reference to “on-call volunteers” in the subject line if you are interested in being placed on the on-call volunteer list.

The amount of the gift certificate will be determined when we call you to come in based upon the length and type of shift. Shifts during actual sale hours will receive the highest gift certificate value. You must be called and actually come in to work the shift to qualify for the gift certificate.
