How to Drop Off Your
Items
Here are the general rules and steps for dropping off your merchandise at our
consignment sale:
- You will
need to sign up for a time to drop off your tagged items
at the sale location (see map). To make an appointment, simply click below and select a 30-minute
slot that works best for you. Sign up for an appointment as soon
as possible.
- You must
bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope (A10 size) along with your
signed
seller agreement
PDF to your drop-off appointment. We
will mail you your check in this envelope, so please make sure
you put your consignor #, (which you will receive after you
register), in the return address area.
- ALL items
must be clean, complete, fully functional, and have the
Seller Information Tag securely attached to them
BEFORE you come to your drop-off time.
- All
clothing should be sorted by size and gender when you arrive
at your drop-off appointment. Please
rubber band together the hangers for items that are all the same
size and gender. For example, group all girls' size 12-18
months and all boys' size 12-18 months separately.
- Drop-off
will take approximately 20 minutes provided you have organized
and tagged your items correctly. Allow enough time in case there
is a brief wait. People are sometimes late to their
appointments which throws the schedule off. We also plan
on being very thorough and will look at each item carefully. Anyone with more than
350 items needs to sign up for additional drop off appointments
for each 350 items.
- Please be
prepared to assemble any pack-n-plays or other large items
during your drop off appointment. Shoppers probably won’t buy
something that they have to assemble themselves in order to see.
- We want
to develop the reputation of having high quality merchandise so
we have certain restrictions on the items we will accept. Please
don't be offended if we return items to you during your drop off
appointment or remove items from the sale that are found to be
damaged. Items may be removed for any of the following
reasons: stains, tears, missing buttons, non-functional zippers,
missing parts, items missing batteries (we need to be able to
demonstrate to the buyer that the item actually works).
You may be asked to correct improper tagging, add more packing
tape, or clean off an item in order to make the process flow
more smoothly.
-
Please bring a print out of your inventory. (This will be
used to make sure you brought all of the items that you intend
to consign. If you have forgotten something you can make
arrangements to go home and bring it back.)
-
If you are
consigning a car seat or car booster seat, please complete the
car seat checklist and bring it with you to your drop off
appointment.
-
Bring a
consignor recall
waiver which basically indicates that the items you are
selling have not been recalled to the best of your knowledge.
- If you
are planning on picking up your items that don’t sell, please
bring a large cardboard box or plastic tub with your
consignor number on the end to be used for sorting after the
sale is over.
- We would
appreciate it if you could assist the drop off volunteer who is
helping you by placing the items they have already checked out
on the sales floor in their appropriate location.
